Riverside - Excitement is in the air as Toastmasters International District 12 rings in the New Year with their 2013 Winter Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI). It will be held at California Baptist University in Riverside, California on Saturday, January 26, 2013.
The public is invited to join District 12 Toastmasters reach a new level of achievement at their full-day training event, where leaders are trained and legacies are created. TLI is an educational and networking event featuring award winning speakers.
TLI’s keynote speaker, Lance Miller, emerged from a field of 28,000 contestants from 90 countries to win Toastmasters International’s title of the World Champion of Public Speaking in 2005. Lance is a Distinguished Toastmaster as well as an award winning speaker and trainer. He brings to the podium a mix of talent and life experiences that have shaped his philosophy and viewpoint of the world. Ursula Mentjes, the leadership guest speaker, is the founder of Sales Coach Now. Mentjes is also an inspirational speaker, Certified Sales Coach & author of two best sellers, “Selling with Intention” and “One Great Goal.” She is passionate about helping individuals and businesses reach their sales goals.
District Governor Roz Carter states that, “There is no other organization in the world more passionate about self-confidence, and personal growth in communication and leadership. We are Toastmasters and we expect nothing less.” She also states that, in regards to TLI, “The sessions are incredible and the rewards are priceless.”
TLI is a networking opportunity that allows attendees many opportunities to connect with District 12 Toastmasters leaders and professional speakers. It includes great speeches that will engage and energize Toastmasters members to move to a new level of speaking with a passion in 2013!
