The 3rd Annual BET Awards held at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood recently honored superlative achievement in music, acting and sports, featuring appearances by Hollywoods Black elite, on-stage performances, and riveting tributes by the hottest names in entertainment.
Comedienne/actress MoNique of UPNs hit comedy The Parkers served as host of this years BET AWARDS telecast. Some honorees were Earvin Magic Johnson, Humanitarian Award recipient and the legendary James Brown, recipient of the BET Lifetime Achievement Award.
