Warner Bros. Records recently announced the release of a special Deluxe DVD Edition of Seal IV, featuring high-resolution surround-sound mixes, special packaging and a trifecta of music videos contained on 2 separate discs.
Released April 20, the Deluxe DVD release of the acclaimed album of the same name features eleven songs written or co-written by Seal, which include the hit single Waiting For You and the new smash Loves Divine. Produced by Trevor Horn (with co-production by Mark Batson on six tracks), this DVD experience refines the extraordinary reunion of one of the most successful studio collaborations in recent musical memory with the CD release of Seal IV September 2003. Together, Seal and Horn have accounted for worldwide album sales of over twelve million units, as well as such era-defining hits as Crazy, Prayer For The Dying and Kiss From A Rose, the 1996 Grammy winner for Record of the Year and Song of the Year. As a result of the re-teaming, Seal IV, has sprinted to 2.5 million sales worldwide in less than a year. Its only fitting that this Deluxe DVD showcases these collaborators in their finest form, and in the truest sound available today.
The album, recorded over the course of 2002, has been remixed in high-resolution stereo and 5.1 surround sound (DVD-A) especially for this package. This special Deluxe Edition DVD includes the full Seal IV album in CD form, 2 tray packaging, a DVD containing the 5.1 mix and high-resolution stereo mix of Seal IV and the following complement of music videos: Loves Divine, Get It Together and Waiting For You.
Additional musical selections found on both discs include Let Me Roll, Get It Together, My Vision, Dont Make Me Wait, Touch, Where Theres Gold, Loneliest Star, and Heavenly...(Good Feeling).
Seal IV contains eleven songs written or co-written by Seal, including the striking hit single Waiting for You and the new smash Loves Divine. People Magazine quickly proclaimed, His third self-titled release finds that Seal is still a unique talent, singing about love and longing with a richly textured voice that is at once soothing, sensual and oh-so-soulful, and Rolling Stone stated, That gorgeously granulated voice is never less than sublime.
A portion of proceeds from Seal IV Tour tickets sold for the tour was donated directly to Childhelp USA, one of the largest and oldest national non-profits dedicated to the treatment and prevention of child abuse and neglect. The organizations programs provide for the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of abused and neglected children.
