There is something about the warm summer weather that makes people want…

… to have fun. On Saturday, July 24th from 12 PM until 10 PM, jazz enthusiasts will gather to celebrate summer and community in the City of Inglewood at the 1st Annual Hollywood Park Jazz Festival.

The event, dubbed as “A Taste of Summer” will feature Judge Mablean Ephriam, of Fox TV’s “Divorce Court,” as Co-Host along with Kevin Nash of KJLH 102.3 FM The event will take place at Hollywood Park Race Track, 1050 S. Prairie Ave, Inglewood, CA.

The festival is a celebration of community growth, economic development and lower crime rates in the City of Inglewood. The purpose of the festival is to enhance Inglewood’s image and the image of Hollywood Park, as well as encourage people from all walks of life to gather together to experience musical entertainment and fun activities. “A Taste of Summer” will feature celebrity artists Lakeside, Hiroshima, Angela Bofill, Ronnie Laws, Jeanette Harris, Michael Ward and many others. With over twenty years of experience as a trial attorney and mediator, Mablean Ephriam brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the bench of “Divorce Court.” She is a nationally recognized motivational speaker who frequently travels throughout the country to inform and educate individuals on real life topics. A member and past president of Black Women Lawyers, Judge Mablean also co-owns E & E House of Care, an assisted living facility for the elderly, Jubilane Guest House, a bed & breakfast in Johannesburg, South Africa and Mablean’s Limousine Service. She is also a founding partner of the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law, one of the largest providers of family law and domestic violence assistance to low-income persons in Los Angeles. The focus of the Center’s efforts is on legal problems involving custody, visitation, support of children, domestic violence, and establishing parentage.
