The American Airlines Power Lunch series was created in 2003 as an online promotion designed to offer career and life-empowering information in addition to travel information to the airline's business travel customers. Noted African-American author Michelle McKinney Hammond is working with American Airlines to provide weekly online video vignettes with life-empowering advice and motivational narratives. Hammond has published more than 20 self-help books and is co-host for the cable television show, Aspiring Women on the Total Living Network. She has appeared on countless television shows including Bill Maher's Politically Incorrect, E-Channel's Soap Talk, NBC's The Other Half, and BET's Oh Drama.
