World-famous Opera Singer to Perform in Riverside

RIVERSIDE

World-famous mezzo-soprano Suzanna Guzmán of the Los Angeles Opera performs a free public performance of her award-winning “Don’t Be Afraid; It’s Just Opera!” from 5:30 to 7 p.m., this Saturday, at the César Chávez Community Center.

Guzmán will sing musical selections from “Carmen,” “The Barber of Seville” and “Madame Butterfly.”

“This is a new exciting venue for the arts here in Riverside,” said Ward 2 Councilman Andy Melendrez.  “Never has Riverside, the City of Arts and Culture, experienced an artistic sensation like Suzanna Guzman.”
