1. How would you describe your job responsibilities?

I am an active member in my community. I provide resources and contacts to those in need.

2. What, if any, would you like to change about the Inland Empire? And why?

Seeing that I am involved in the entertainment world and a lover of hip hop, I would say the way hip hop is perceived. A lot of folks think that all hip hop music speaks of killing, sex, gangbanging, cars, fast money, degrading women, and bling and that’s not so. Working in the community and showcasing talent I get a lot of young talented Hip Hop artist with positive messages. I just want people to know that all Hip Hop isn’t bad. Artist such as Mos Def, The Roots, Nas, Dead Prez, and KRS One speak of success, peace, knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and the righteous way of life.

3. What is something most people don’t know about you?

I’m a board member for the Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce Inland Cities East and a military brat. I have my own production business.

4. What would you say is your biggest accomplishment?

Receiving my promotion at my current place of employment First 5 San Bernardino as the Office Specialist/PR. When I began working for First 5 San Bernardino as a receptionist, I experienced a tragic loss. My husband had passed away abruptly due to heart failure. Having to raise three children on my own and maintain my job at times has been challenging. It’s only by the grace of God I made it this far.

5. What do you like to do in your free time?

I’m an entertainer, singer, and song writer. I love entertaining people and providing a relaxing atmosphere. I am a restaurant junkie as well so I love eating out when I can afford it. I also enjoy staying home and watching a good movie.
