Riverside — NewMark Merrill Companies continues to attract new tenants to University Village, located just off the 215 freeway. NewMark Merrill companies has already leased over 27,000 square feet of retail space this year at the Riverside shopping center. University of Riverside (UCR) added 21,672 square feet to expand its educational services. Darren Bovard, NewMark Merrill Companies Director of Leasing, represented the landlord. Cali Basil & Oven signed a 7-year lease for the 2,589 square foot space located near 7- Eleven. Mark Gallucci, NewMark Merrill Companies Senior Leasing Associate, represented the landlord. Cali Basil & Oven specializes in Vietnamese cuisine.
Fire and Ice Land signed a 5 year lease for the 1,795 square feet location at the pad building on the west side of the center near T-Mobile. Mark Gallucci with NewMark Merrill Companies represented the landlord. Fire and Ice Land specializes in Asian American style cuisine. Haagen Dazs signed a 5-year lease for the 1,100 square foot space located near Quiznos. Mark Gallucci, NewMark Merrill Companies Senior Leasing Associate, represented the landlord. Haagen Dazs specializes in ice cream.
University Village Shopping Center is a 178,020 square foot outdoor community center. Other tenants include Regency Theatres, Starbucks, Fatburger, Rubio’s, Quizno’s, Service Plus Credit Union and Juice It Up.
