South Alabama’s offense took advantage of early opportunities

Coach Chip Kelley has these Bruins playing well on the season, yet South Alabama’s offense took advantage of early opportunities to lead the Bruins 17-6, midway through the second quarter. Senior quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson connected on a touchdown pass to Jake Bobo to bring the Bruins closer before the half at 17-13.
Bruins scored twice in the fourth quarter
Thompson-Robinson put the Bruins ahead 20 -17 with an 11-yard touchdown pass to Kam Brown, early in the third quarter. South Alabama then put two quick touchdowns on the board to go ahead 31-23. The Bruins scored twice in that fourth quarter on Thompson-Robinson’s third touchdown pass and a game ending field goal from the foot of Barr-Mira to win the game 32 – 21 as time ran out.
