UCLA Bruins, led by transfer quarterback Nico Iamaleava, defeated the 7th ranked Penn State Nittany Lions 38-21, snapping their winless streak and knocking Penn State out of the top 25.

The LA Chargers defeat division rival Kansas City Chiefs in Sao Paulo, Brazil, part of the NFL's (GMP) Global Markets Program.
