Every day across the inland region nearly two thousand residents seek justice through the courts. The reasons for these interactions can vary from defending against an alleged crime(s) to righting a civil wrong to probating an estate to deciding placement of an at-risk child, or assigning guardianship for a dependent adult or minor, in addition any number of a variety of other legal issues.
One defendant’s nightmare of missing court documents, questionable bench warrants, potential kidnappings, alleged false arrests, and a ten-fold bail increase, among other concerns, has left his life and the lives of his family forever changed.
