Time is running out to apply for the Southern California's Fair annual Farmer's Daughter Scholarship Competition. Female students, ready to have fun, ages 16-19 (as of 10-1-08) and living in Riverside County may qualify for a share of the money. You need not be a "Farmer's Daughter" in the literal sense to compete for one of the $500-$1250 awards that will go to finalist in the competition.

The deadline to apply is just around the corner. If you are a female student age 16-19 (as of 10-1-08), live in Riverside County, are planning on attending college or a trade school and are up for some good old fashioned fun, this contest is for you! Applications are due in the fair office no later than July 23rd.  Get an application and complete set of rules at www.SoCalFair.com or by calling 951-657-4221.
